This includes rapid assessment and treatment of critically injured patients, coordination of multidisciplinary trauma teams, performing advanced procedures like intubations, central lines, chest tubes, coordinating transfers to higher levels of care if necessary, and participating in trauma education. The pace is often fast-paced, requiring quick decision-making and collaboration with various specialists to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
  • Metropolitan Hospital Center- Community hospital, most patients coming here have pathologies which are bread and butter of medicine. My role as an emergency physician remains largely to provide immediate medical care to patients with acute illnesses or injuries, prioritize treatment based on urgency, order and interpret diagnostic tests, coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, perform emergency procedures, advocate for patients, document care accurately, and provide patient education.
