*6th grade ESL teacher of approximately 200 + students divided in two colored days: taking 6 groups per day.

*ESL students serviced from Newcomers to High Advance. Students are mixed in classrooms of up to 24 students.

*Help & organize with Hispanic Event & ESL Night.

*Attend to ARD Meetings.

• Designed and implemented daily lesson plans or grade levels from kinder to 5th.
• Create and adapt lesson plans according to students’ academic needs, including both individual and small group work.
• Maintain an open-door policy by making Virtual Home visits for orientation on ESL Program and Summer School.
• Develop TEKS compatible activities to promote better learning for Bilingual students and work to take them to their next level & help them to reach their expected goals.
• Participated in Admission, Review and Dismissal (ARD) meetings.
• Documented necessary ARD meeting information into the ESL software management program ELLevation.
• Assisted with planning of ESL parent night and presented orientation PowerPoint.
• Translated ARD meetings as well as parent teacher conferences as required.

• Designed and implemented daily lesson plans for classroom of 30+ Hispanic students from kinder to 6th grade.
• Fostered student curiosity and interest in learning the English language through hands on activities and a variety of skills and techniques.
• Met with parents, guardians, administrators, Sped teachers and Social Worker to address and resolve students’ behavioral issues or learning disabilities.
