I was born and raised in Ventura CA, spending the majority of my childhood and young adult life riding horses and spending as much time outdoors as possible. I grew up with chickens and a garden that was always blooming with ripe fruits and vegetables. I developed a love caring for living things, plants and animals alike. This passion grew even more as I enrolled in Oak Grove School in Ojai, CA, which has an open based learning environment that focused heavily on our outdoor experience. From tending to the in house garden, to back-packing trips in the wilderness my years at Oak Grove were formative.
More recently I spent four years in Nashville pursing a singer/songwriting career. After releasing my first EP and feeling like I did what I set out to do in Nashville, I ventured back home.
I'm very interested in learning more about sustainable farming and dream of having land of my own one day.
I have always been very passionate about animal rescue and regularly volunteered at the Humane Society of Ventura County. I rescued my terrier mix, Louie 7 years ago and we do absolutely everything together. I rescued Bun Bun, my first rabbit after he had been dumped in a park in Los Angeles. After deciding to adopt him I learned as much as I could about rabbit care. I now have another rescue bunny, "Willow" and the two are the best of friends!
