Summary

As an aspiring assessment psychologist and predoctoral intern at Alameda Family Services, I constantly strive to expand my knowledge of psychological science to transform theory into practice. I am open to a variety of theoretical orientations and identify strongly with multiculturally-aware, ecological approaches. While my framework remains consistent from client to client, the interventions I use with each client are uniquely tailored to address their challenges, strengths, and treatment goals. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Theraplay are just some examples of the approaches I commonly use in psychotherapy. I am experienced in working with clients across the entire lifespan and am particularly fascinated by the integration of neuropsychological, projective, personality, and intelligence assessments into holistic, client-centered treatment.
