At the age of 13 I scrounged around enough money to buy myself my very first camera and started my photography journey. I was inspired by the works of photojournalist and amateur/profession photographers in the local skateboarding scene. This prompted me to go out and capture my own stories as well as those in my community and beyond. Over the years I have found photography as an endeavor that allowed me to share memories of special moments in my life as well as a creative language to express who I am.
