Zia is the best-selling author of 14 books in 5 genres, currently available on amazon, and the founder of the first natural cosmetic company in the U.S. (now owned by Haine-Celestial). In her early twenties she played leading roles in two Broadway musicals, then made a comeback in Cabaret in San Francisco in 2018 as Fraulein Schneider. From 2015-2017 she lived in Italy and Luxembourg and traveled extensively throughout Europe, cooking Mexican and American feasts for friends. She loves hosting dinner and wine pairing parties for friends in her Calistoga home, and introducing friends to fine tequilas and her homemade limoncello.
