Zoda Jumanazarova

Recent University of Washington graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Biology: Molecular, Cell & Development and hands-on clinical experience as both a Medical Scribe and Medical Assistant in primary care and dermatology at Optum Care. My academic training provided a strong foundation in molecular biology, human physiology, genetics, disease mechanisms, and evidence-based medicine, while my clinical experience allowed me to translate that knowledge into patient-centered care. Working alongside physicians, nurses, and medical assistants in high-volume outpatient clinics strengthened my ability to anticipate provider needs, accurately document patient encounters, manage clinical workflows, and communicate effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Through these experiences, I gained exposure to preventive medicine, chronic disease management, dermatologic conditions, minor procedures, medication management, patient education, and electronic medical record documentation. They reinforced the importance of compassion, teamwork, efficiency, and clear communication while teaching me to remain composed and adaptable in fast-paced clinical environments.

My long term goal is to become a Transplant Surgery Physician Assistant. Before pursuing graduate education, I am seeking opportunities to expand my clinical knowledge, broaden my exposure to different areas of medicine, and continue learning from experienced healthcare professionals. Above all, I strive to be a compassionate, dependable healthcare professional whom patients can trust, helping make healthcare more approachable, accessible, and supportive while ensuring every patient feels heard, respected, and cared for.
