My largest personal accomplishments are centered around my early athletic development. Through dedication, perseverance and hard work I was fortunate enough to have been part of a nationally ranked Academy level soccer team. While part of that team I had the opportunity to travel around the country to be part of many national level competitions and to spend time at a significant number of NCAA recruiting. Though I ultimately decided to pursue education over athletics the rigors associated with competition of that level gave me the tools to succeed in multiple avenues including not just academically but also professionally.

Interests
I've always been very interested in any type of Team sports. I played soccer my entire life while also playing basketball for a few years. I also love to work out at the gym, whether that's lifting or taking classes such as yoga, cycling or Pilates. I also Played Club soccer here at JMU and is in The Alpha Phi sorority. I have an appointed position as the Guard, and this position is responsible for maintaining security during our formal meetings and rituals such as initiation of the new members. I make sure the ceremonies are conducted directly according to the sorority's specific traditions and rules.
