Increased audience attendance to an all-time high that earned the bureau departmental recognition from the Office of the Secretary’s senior leadership; selected by the Director to serve as a Co-Chair for the bureau’s first Culture Change Employee Engagement Workgroup. The work group conducted a comprehensive review of the organization’s state of culture (change) and employee engagement; developed an organizational action plan to provide to the director for implementation; established partnerships with Employee Resource Groups, agency officials, and professional organizations external to bureau to promote diversity and inclusion best practices within the bureau; collaborated, partnered, strategically planned, created, organized, and implemented short and long-term employment engagement activities; recipient of the 2021 Director’s Change Agent Award for Diversity and Inclusion.
