  • Lead the resolution and sale of Lehman Brothers Trust Corporation (non-debtor), by working with the President of the bank to stabilize the business, while actively working with our investment banker to market the banks to potential strategic buyers in order to preserve enterprise value, which increased initial recovery estimates by $2 million dollars
  • Co-developed a business plan for Lehman Brothers Bank, FSB, which resulted in the bank not getting seized by regulators and brought the bank's capital levels from 'undercapitalized' to 'adequately capitalized', while preventing a $7 billion dollar loss to the estate
  • Lead due diligence and term sheet negotiations for the Lehman estate to help structure the most accretive transaction for creditors by running an auction process to market Lehman Brothers Trust Bank to multiple buyers which resulted in the subsequent sale to Neuberger Berman
  • Developed an analytical framework for the Lehman Estate and its attorneys to determine whether preferential treatment was given to certain creditors leading up to the bankruptcy, which required the identification of $6-$8 billion worth of debt buybacks.
