  • Opened Marriott Austin Downtown during 2020 pandemic. We've been able to build our reputation and to hit natural rank at #3 with a 2022 Q1 RevPar of $177.50, exceeding budget by $319,107 of $9,792,877 (3% of forecast accuracy)

  • Pre-Opening & Opening Manager for JW Indianapolis & Austin (1000+guestrooms at each property)
  • Managed a department that oversaw a total of 2,247 guestrooms that consisted of 5 properties, 1 supervisor, and 6 coordinators
  • As manager I was able to create a group housing department to include local standard operating procedures (LSOP's), hiring, scheduling, and developing each coordinator. As a team we were responsible for managing all group and BT reservations from making the reservations, setting up billing, blocking room types, requests of VIP writers, creating cover sheets and resumes for each group to distribute to internal teams, attended pre-convention meetings, and worked directly with clients
  • Planned and hosted Group Housing Development Workshop Series- Workshop consisted of live training, role playing, and networking. The workshop was available to group housing coordinators within the full service portfolio to include Chicago, Austin, Indianapolis, Nashville, Louisville, and Richmond. After the workshop I became a resource for all coordinators and still continue to be a resource for coordinators in Indianapolis, Austin, and Louisville
  • During Special events I managed all group and transient inventory to ensure execution of perfect sells and system balancing for Super Bowl 2011, NCAA Final Four, Brickyard 400, Indianapolis 500, National FFA Convention, and many others
