At Accenture, I served on the Cloud Security team, supporting diverse client projects. Responsibilities included customizing Azure Policies for the Secure Cloud Group Library, enhancing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for policy deployment, and crafting internal security tools for client use.

• Develop Azure security guardrails by creating custom Azure Policies to ensure businesses meet industry standards
• Focusing on the NIST-800 industry standard, I provide processes and automated solutions to ensure secure PaaS resources while being deployed into clients' Azure Cloud environments
• Working closely with Microsoft, I leverage my technical skills to create new capabilities for identifying non-compliant Azure services, create enforcement capabilities on deployments of these services through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and develop a remediation process for new and existing non-compliant services
• Automate multiple manual processes such as code deployment through Azure DevOps and Jenkins, creating reports for security vulnerabilities, and assisting in the process creation for generation key rotations and lifecycle management using Azure Key Vault and BYOK solutions
• Create solutions for implementing current business On-Prem Group Policy Objects (GPOs) in cloud Virtual Machines known as Guest Configurations
• Work with Microsoft to develop a process for converting GPOs into custom Azure Policy Initiatives and managing the auditing of virtual machines using Azure Arc.

• Assessed the client’s environment through discovery workshops and provided recommendations to improve the current state of Zero Trust capabilities
• Created an actionable roadmap to achieve future state architecture and topology
• Developed a phased implementation roadmap to align various initiatives toward a long-term Zero Trust Strategy.

• Created a strategic plan focusing on ZT Principals that addressed specific tactical and organizational gaps
• Developed functional requirements for implementation of SASE into the client’s future network/security environment.

• Assessed the cloud posture of the Azure environment, identified gaps in controls, and recommended remediation
• Created a hardening guide by mapping Azure policies to NIST-800 and PCI DSS regulatory compliance to strengthen client’s overall security posture
• Created a prioritized roadmap to continuously improve the client’s IAM strategy and cloud security adoption.
