Growth as measured by Writescore and STAR reading data show: 6th grade grew by 21%, 7th grade by 7%, 8th grade by 27%, as well as a significant increase in 8th grade students performing above average on writing; Improvement in students' Lexile scores from previous year among 6 through 8 grade students - 23.1%, 17.9%, and 14.5% respectively.
