I am very interested in becoming a member of the WSA ERC team. I am passionate about fixing systemic issues in the NAS and would love to be a part of this team. Please contact me with any questions.
This fall I transferred areas to work a heavy departure gate and continue to learn and build on my ATC knowledge.
I am currently the NATCA Airspace Rep in Area 2 and have been the Natca Safety Council Rep prior to accepting the Airspace Rep Position.
During this time I served as the Alternate Area Rep specifically during covid and assisted the Area Rep with any issues that would arise on my side of the schedule. These duties included working with management for the BWS bid lines for 2020, the frequency problems in this area, and other general issues.
In 2018 I transferred to D01 tracon and ultimately withdrew from training in 2019 when my wife ended up in the hospital giving birth to our son.
In 2016 I transferred areas for the purpose of working arrivals all the way into the tracon rather than just fl270 and above and also to work military airspace and become more familiar with military operations
Initial area assignment (02/09) and certification at ZDV in Area 6 (6/2011)
During this time I served as the ZDV Natca Secretary from 2014-2016.
I served on the CWG with the local safety council while in area 5 as well as a SME for a project regarding IR416 The route cuts through many areas at ZDV and we were able to come up with a really great outcome in that we now have the ability to "turn on" this route as a military operations area as another reminder when aircraft have been cleared in
I was selected to be the foreperson of the Boulder County Grand Jury for the year of 2019 and was required to keep confidential information secure
