MICHAELA RAETZER

As a cocktail server, my goal for the night was to exceed criteria for alcohol sales. I surpassed my peers and raised sales by 127% consistently. My duties were serving drinks, handling cash including my bank with my tips and giving the correct amount by the end of the night.

• As someone that started with the company when it was first founded, left for two years of military service and came back I have maintained my stamina where I last left off leaving my roles in 2017 which were Team lead, Barista, including one of the top performing sales associates being top 3 loose leaf tea distributers to customers on the floor. When I went back to Steepologie teas I was then assigned to flying to different locations to jump start operations and train staff as well as hosting interviews for potential team members. I left the company in good graces due to unfortunate circumstances of them closing up shop. My time at Steepologie teas was spent learning the inner functions of how small businesses operate as well as learning the ins and outs of how working as a team can create long lasting stability in a companies foundation.

• My time in the United States Army was met with many challenges I've come to take in stride. Going through basic training in the winter time having to teach myself how to heat up a MRE after trial and error to team work building and following suit in being given orders, not being able to lose inventory (such as losing a glove, and given the event you do lose that glove your required along with everyone else to leave it behind because you had to be in uniform) and always being punctual with timing and windows of time. My main duty station was fort benning georgia but I did complete AIT at Fort Lee Virginia, not completed in Fort Sam Houston for reclassification. I then was honorably discharged and cleared to go work back at Steepologie Teas
