CNC Sacramento

Job overview

CNC seeks to provide all rural households with the resources they require to succeed. We were born and raised in the cities and communities we serve. Our families, like many others in our communities, do not always have the resources they require to thrive. We are entitled to better. Our families deserve finished communities with sidewalks on our streets and lighting in our parks, as well as grocery shops where we can buy healthy food for our family. Access to decent healthcare, steady jobs paying a living income, contemporary schools, clean air, and safe drinking water . CNC engages rural families all year long, creating power together to transform our communities and build a better California.

Job overview

The Summer at City Hall program is a six-week summer learning experience that teaches high school juniors and seniors about local government procedures and how to become active members of their community. Throughout the program, students are supported by a diverse team of team members, including qualified instructors who present a curriculum centered on civic involvement, local political structure, and youth development. This program is an exciting way to learn how to find our inner voice and bring a youth perspective to real city issues and concerns.
