The Army has given me a work ethic, responsibility, duty, and life lessons on doing more that expected. My goal is to find a steady career that suits me and can give me a good life.   • I enlisted in the Army NG at age 17
  • Attended basic training the summer of June 2019 and completed said training
  • I later went on to graduate high school in 2020 and then went to my OSIUT training in June 2020 and completed Infantry school
  • Later that year I linked up with my unit and began my integration into the unit
  • Around November 2020 I was deployed to Washington D.C
  • To contain the riots after the election
  • While I was in D.C
  • It was my job to hold the line at the capital building
  • This included me working with SWAT, secret service, D.C
  • Bomb squad, Capital police, and other intelligence groups from the Metropolitan district
  • While in D.C
  • I was recognized by the Sergeant Major of the Army Grinston
  • Upon returning home I was sent to a training exercise in Fort Polk Louisiana to attend JRTC

  • As a Madison County Correctional Officer it was my job to ensure the safety and schedule of the offenders daily life until court date, sentencing, release, or conviction to the state penitentiary

  • As a correctional officer at the Maximum Security facility my job was to ensure the safety of the offenders, other officers, the public, and myself from the dangers that could potentially take place behind the walls
