Motivated Student Physical Therapist with good relationship-building, communication and multitasking abilities. Knowledgeable about applying evidence-based practices to rehabilitate patients. Detail-oriented and reliable with a hardworking nature. History of working with workers' compensation patients to provide targeted physical therapy support. Treated up to seven patients each day by the end of a 7 week rotation under the direction of my clinical instructor. However, due to the nature of the field of physical therapy, on average, treated 4-6 patients daily.
Communication
My first clinical rotation was completed at Concentra Physical Therapy, a workers' compensation clincic, in Sacramento, California. This rotation was a seven week rotation where I treated patients with acute or chronic injuries of the hand, finger, shoulder, neck, back, hip, knee, ankle, and foot. Some common injuries included muscle strains, osteoarthritis, and ankle sprains; while uncommon more advanced injuries seen included total and reverse total shoulder repairs and total knee arthroplasty.
