Clinical Rotation Experience
My first clinical rotation was completed at Concentra Physical Therapy, a workers' compensation clincic, in Sacramento, California. This rotation was a seven week rotation where I treated patients with acute or chronic injuries of the hand, finger, shoulder, neck, back, hip, knee, ankle, and foot. Some common injuries included muscle strains, osteoarthritis, and ankle sprains; while uncommon more advanced injuries seen included total and reverse total shoulder repairs and total knee arthroplasty.
Accomplishments
- Graduated Summa Cum Laude with a dual degree in Health Sciences and Public Health.
- Inducted into Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society in May 2021.
- Inducted into Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society in October 2018.
