After graduating from high school and doing various odd jobs i stated my first real job at Bandon Pacific Seafood loading hole crab on a packing table by hand one by one . Through hard work and dedication i quickly moved up through the ranks from a entry level job up to supervisor in a very short time .
From there i moved to eugene and started as a lot attendant at Kendall honda . In the same fashion as my previous job through hard work and dedication i moved up quickly to xpress tech .
From there i decided that working on boilers was a good move and started at Commercial Heating and Air installing and repairing boilers and any related piping . Through many hours of work i qualified to test on get my Oregon State Class three boilers license . Through many hours of studying and working on the job i received my license . To retain that license i have to complete 21 hours of continuing education every three years .
My responsibility's included installing boilers and all pertinent piping from the boiler to the equipment that the boiler is suppling steam to . Using any related tools to the job including pipe threading machine and various hand tools , man lifts ,fork lifts . Also filling out any related paper work to the job, and communicating to the customer about the progress and any problems with the job . Using company vehicle to get to and from the job site's in various locations around the state of oregon . I also take continuing education on a yearly basis to retain my Oregon State class three Boilers license .
My responsibility's were to install and repair boilers and any related piping . Using company vehicles and any related tools and equipment . My job duties are exactly the same as Mechanical Heating and Air . The boiler division at Commercial Heating and Air broke off and started Mechanical Heating and Air . My boss at Commercial is the same as at Mechanical , and he can verify my work history for both company's .
My responsibility's as a lot attendant included washing cars and insuring that the vehicles were clean and ready for customers and making sure the were ready for delivery to the customer Making sure the lot was clean and well organized .
My responsibility's as a porter were to greet service customers, take delivery of there car and transported to the service shop . Giving courtesy rides to the customer's to and from the shop. Making sure car was properly cleaned and ready for delivery back to the customer.
My duties as a xpress tech included changing all fluids. Rotating ,repairing ,balancing and replacing tires.
inspecting car's for any safety issues and recommending any work that needs to be done .
My responsibility's included , insuring that all fazes of production were operating smoothly with no problems . Assigning tasks and responsibility's to employees , and making sure they are completing there tasks . Loading and unloading trucks with fork lifts and pallet jacks, inspecting loads for damage and that they match the bill of lading . Filling out bill of ladings for shipments and insuring that the load is safe, secure and not over weight . To get to this position i had to learn just about every job there was in the seafood industry . From working on unloading of the boats all the way to every process inside the fish plant up to the supervisor position .
