As the bar manager, I have many responsibilities, including the following:

• Hiring, training, and supervising bartenders as well as other support staff to ensure excellent customer service.
• Overseeing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and managing relationships with multiple vendors to maintain adequate stock while also controlling costs.
• Creating and managing employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
• Enforcing health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including alcohol licensing requirements.
• Resolving conflicts or disputes among staff members or customers, maintaining a positive work environment, and fostering teamwork and cooperation.
• Closed out cash register and prepared cashier report at close of business.
• Managed staff schedules and maintained adequate coverage for all shifts.

Under the supervision of a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), I:

• Conducted comprehensive evaluations and assessments of speech and language disorders in school-aged children.
• Conducted speech and language screenings for students in preschool through middle school settings.
• Provided direct therapy services to students with a varying level of speech and language disorders, including articulation and language delays.
• Implemented evidence-based interventions and adapted materials to meet individual needs and learning styles.
• Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), including picture exchange communication systems, and various speech-generating devices.
• Collaborated with regular education teachers, special education teachers, and support staff to integrate speech and language goals into the academic curriculum and classroom activities.
• Documented client progress and maintained accurate records.
• Attended Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributed to the development of student goals and objectives.
• Prepared and organized therapy materials and resources for therapy sessions.
