Senior Aircraft Integrator

Lead efforts to create necessary technical data and technical orders to ensure maintainability and sustainability of aircraft modifications. Analyze host aircraft/store compatibility requirements. Considered to be a subject matter expert and will mentor junior IPT members. Complete all required tasking autonomously.

Foreign Military Sales Technical Data/Configuration Manager

Provided technical/logistics support for F-16 systems, sub-systems and programs in the area of avionics, electrical/environmental, hydraulics, structures and support systems. Identified and documented country F-16 specific system and sub-system baseline and configuration, along with modified configurations. Provided support for Engineering Change Notices (ECN), Organic Change Notices (OCN)Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO). Provided support and coordination of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Mission Capable (MICAP) requests, developed and coordinated FMS MICAP packages and tracking and supply Deficiency Reports (DR). Served as the single Point of Contact (POC) for country specific systems and maintenance and correction of country specific F-16 technical data, Supported country specific F-16 trial installations (TVI), kit proofs and TCTO/tech data specification. Provided expertise in reviewing technical data, blueprints, misc. drawings, along with F-16 aircraft systems and sub-systems specifications to assist in the evaluation of country specific technical data and support specifications.

F-16 Aircraft Electrician

  • Primary purpose is to install and test depot level modifications and upgrades of electrical, mechanical and avionics systems. Additionally, performs the installation, troubleshooting, adjusting, testing, calibrating, and repairing of aircraft electrical systems and equipment on the F-16 aircraft, such as AC and DC electrical power control and distribution systems, lighting systems, refueling and fuel quantity indicating systems, electrical warning, controlling, and actuating circuits, and tying-in power and control circuits for functional systems, such as hydraulics, armament, radar/avionics, EGRESS, brakes/anti-skid, engine/jet fuel starter (JFS), engine anti-ice, fire and overheat detection, and fuel inerting. The work is characterized by the need to possess a vast understanding of the functional characteristics and relationships of various electrical systems and equipment on aircraft. Extensively used F-16 technical orders and manuals, blueprints, schematics, and time compliance technical orders (TCTO).
  • Possess 21 years experience in the F-16 depot installing avionics system modifications and upgrades. Work included the installation of aircraft wiring, pertinent to installation of new avionics systems, installation of line replaceable units (LRU's), and operational check out of all systems requiring testing upon completion. Subject matter expert, as a wage leader during this process, to help and train other employees during installation, build up, trouble shooting and operational check out procedures, after completion of newly installed avionics upgraded systems. Avionics modifications include Improved Data Modem (IDM), Situational Data Link (SADL), Advanced Identify Friend or Foe (AIFF), XMUX/Ethernet/, Secure Line of Sight (SLOS), Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS), Modular Mission Computer (MMC), Embedded Global Positioning System/Inertial Navigation System (EGI), Center Display Unit (CDU), Helmet Mounted Integrated Targeting (HMIT), Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS), LINK-16, High Speed Data Network (HSDN), ALQ-213 and MIDS/LVT.
  • Selected on several avionics modification TVI and kit proofs to work hand in hand with engineers, equipment specialists and integrators to install, identify modifications short comings, create resolutions and improve the process and installation of avionics modifications and wiring. This was a vital process to eliminate any identified issues and resolve them before the avionics modification was released for full install on the F-16 fleet as needed. These modifications included ALQ-213, ALR-69A (including fiber optic wiring), Automatic Ground Collision Avoidance System (AGCAS), ASQ-236, RIP, and MIDS/JTRS.
  • Deployed with the defense field teams (DFT), to install avionics modifications at a field level, as a team lead. As team lead, communicated between team and gaining aircraft unit to ensure smooth flow of inducted aircraft for avionics modifications, installation and follow on operational checkouts. Problem solver if any issues with time compliance technical orders, avionics modification kits or various other issues occurred.
  • As a wage leader (WL), was also tasked to perform the above duties while training and assisting fellow aircraft electricians, during the installation, build up, operational checkout and trouble shooting of newly installed avionics modifications and upgrades, and work as a liaison between wage grade electricians and first line supervisors, upper management, special programs office (SPO), engineers and integrators with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.
