I've lived all over the world, being a military child, and I'm thrilled to start my life off with this head start I've been given by the school system after turning 18. From graduating early I didn't have a lot of opportunities career wise because I was 16. In that time however I've decided what I would like to do with my life in terms of schooling, that would be going to college starting the Fall of 2024 and saving now to do so.
I worked all positions and familiarized myself with all in's and out's of the restaurant including the kitchen, where we learned to cook with the grill and fryers. The drive thru, which was where we leaned how to package and take orders on the POS system. The front counter, which was where we interacted with people and took orders face to face. Aside from the Job a big portion was also keeping the restaurant spotless, cleanliness was a major part.
This was a seasonal job run by family friends that I still occasionally will work at during the summer and fall. My responsibilities included baking , and selling stromboli as well as cleaning the equipment used such as knives and pans. Here i would open and close turning everything on and off and setting up and taking down everything.
I worked here during the summer of 2020 in a work program for teens. My responsibilities included shelving and checking out the library materials, helping with events ran by the manager, and reorganizing and moving entire shelves.
