I have grown up in Malvern, PA all of my life and have recently moved to West Chester to continue my education. I am currently 20 years old working towards building my network and strengthening my skills. I have always been recognized as a detail oriented and analytical person. I have used my set of skills and social abilities to be a part of as many clubs as possible throughout my educational experience. I worked as a hostess and server for about 4 years as I learned about etiquette, planning, and teamwork. I have had a passion to be in the medical/psychology field, which is why I volunteered at Paoli hospital to gain more insight. Entering college, I was a biology major but soon switched to psychology. I feel that because I am such an analytical person, it translates well into the field. I strive to be a humanitarian and to help people in my career. I joined the Alpha Phi sorority shortly into college, allowing me to meet so many different people. I was introduced to positions within Alpha Phi where I could display my leadership skills. I worked as director of external events, dealing with planning social events with other organizations. I then got elected for an executive position as VP of Health, Wellness, and Accountability. This position directly relates to mental health and safety of members. I have learned how to lead and oversee events as well as promote mental health procedures.
