Direct report to Patrol Division Commander. Command oversight of multiple commanding officers and street platoons to include exceptional delivery of police services, community engagement, special events, training and accreditation and liaison with metro council representatives.

Responsible for conducting criminal investigations involving metro employees, facilities and officer-involved shootings. Liaison with federal agencies and state and federal prosecutors.

• August 2009- August 2014 Homicide Unit Sergeant

Responsible for the supervision of all manner of death investigations, case management, coordination with prosecuting attorneys, victim advocates and court presentation. Regular briefings for Chief's and Mayor's offices and media briefings. Developed and maintained databases, unit budget and fleet.
