Work History

Server Lead/Trainer

Din Tai Fung
Bellevue, Washington
03.2021 - Current
  • My position at Din Tai Fung as a server lead/trainer was to lead and support my department in all aspects of the restaurant, making sure guest satisfaction was our number one priority. As a trainer, I became the most knowledgeable and go-to person for any situation or questions. Led onboarding training for staff and managers through our 7-day program, promoting efficiency and instilling our core values.

NRO

Din Tai Fung
Vancouver, British Colombia
05.2025 - 08.2025
  • NRO stands for new restaurant opening. My job as NRO was to join an A-team and help build the restaurant from the ground up. Coming across various challenges such as hiring, training, team-building skills, and managing junior servers to ensure guest satisfaction for the first few weeks of opening. NROs are typically a temporarily relocated project of about 3-4 months at a time. With NRO being a corporate position, I was able to open up multiple Din Tai Fungs such as New York, Irvine, and Vancouver working alongside our CEO, President of Operations, and Director of Training.
