I’ve been at happy’s carwash since September 2024 we sell memberships we wash cars in the tunnel by spraying them and we set appointments for details where you can bring your car in and get it fully cleaned out.
I was a package handler from September 2024 till February 2025 I was working two part time jobs at happy’s carwash and FedEx. I would go in at 2am and leave around 7am or 8am taking boxes out of the trailers, work was good around the holiday time but it started slowing down after new years and they weren’t giving enough hours anymore.
I learned to cut hair back in 2020 at the throne barbershop and I stopped for a while so Linden owner Érica was nice enough to give me an opportunity back into cutting hair. I started off by taking all the walk ins and answering the phone calls and slowly building clients. There was weeks where it was good and times when it wasn’t and I would just be in the barbershop waiting for a client to come. I got really better at cutting hair so I got to develop my skill in cutting hair but being in a barbershop all day wasn’t for me.
My friend brought me into Yellowstone as a shoveler for the snow I would pretty much just work snow removal long nights outside with a shovel and eventually they started letting me use the plow machine.
My dad brought me in for a temporary job where he worked at I was his assistant they told me it was just for the summer so it was good while it lasted I was helping him with brick work and repairing staircases or fixing spindles and I really miss working outside helping him fix these things around the university of saint mary of the lakes but it was only a temporary job so they always told me to be ready to look for something else after the season was over.
I was selling memberships at LA fitness and it was good the gm ricky would take me to go talk to people and invite them to our gym so it gave me the ability to persuade people to buy. That’s what this was all about and I slowly started realizing I didn’t really like it, working in a gym environment was cool but I didn’t like how they almost scam people into paying for personal training or for high memberships and all this stuff just because it’s my job to sell to always keep selling
I was working for this landscape group as my first job I was finishing up my senior year of high school and I would help them cut a lot of houses and clean up big sticks and a lot of leafs from really big houses too. I really like working outside and I think this job was good for my experience in landscape
