Summary

Communicative, Dependable, and people centric Service Representative and Patient Advocate dedicated to going above and beyond to create lasting patient and customer experiences. Started working with customers from the age of 8 at our family restaurant on Rib Mountain Drive, establishing solid consumer interactions skills in the ten years that followed. My job included everything from taking orders and cleaning to making food for patrons. I have 10 months experience in the Emergency Department at the Plover Aspirus as a medical receptionist where I work tirelessly to assist patients during stressful and unfortunate hospital visits. Used to work at Target Providing excellent customer service to guests both in-store and online before moving to the more future focused position with Aspirus. Most recently I've pursed EMT Certification through NTC to venture into the clinical side of healthcare. In the past, I held a position as a call center representative at the Footlocker Regional Headquarters in Wausau, Wisconsin. Where I thoroughly enjoyed assisting customers of all ages to address any issues they had.

About Me

About Me

My Name is Abdullah Darduk; I am a 20-year-old Junior at UW - Stevens Point who is slowly branching away from our family business to enter the field I've always dreamed of, medicine. I'm very hardworking and have developed several crucial skills in the long time I've worked with customers at three separate establishments and throughout my time volunteering in my community. I'm dedicated to and take pride in the work I do. I work great in a team environment or independently and always strive to exceed expectations. In the long run I hope to combine all my skills and experience to pursue a career in healthcare as physician.

Volunteer and Educational Summary

When not working, studying or being with my family, I enjoy making an impact in my community through volunteer work. Volunteering was a core part of my time in high school and today I'm proud to serve the Wausau Aspirus Hospital, American Red Cross, the Ethiopian Community Development Council (ECDC) and my local mosque regularly.

I offer a very outgoing personality, and I'm always willing to learn new skills. Furthermore, I'm a Pre-Med student at UW-Stevens Point, where I'm currently seeking a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and a Minor in Sociology.
