Abigail Sanborn

My name is Abby Sanborn, I am 17 years old, and I am a junior at Sartell Highschool. I have worked at the Sartell Coldstone for about a year and a half. I have really enjoyed this job and plan on staying there, but I am looking for an additional summer job. I think Kidstop would be a great fit for me because I am a good leader, work well with others, am good with kids, and I have a positive attitude.

I have completed 2 quarters of Child Development course where I learned a wide variety about different age levels and how to effectively lead children. I volunteered in 2 different 5th grade classrooms for a total of about 14 weeks for 1 class period each day. I also recently finished a volunteer course through my school. I completed weekly assignments about how to communicate and work with others. While doing this online coursework, I finished a 9 week period of volunteering in an 8th grade middle school classroom. 

I have been babysitting my own 7 and 5 year old siblings, as well as various friends and families children. I have spent a lot of time around kids so I feel very comfortable dealing with children.
