

Motivated Social Worker with comprehensive knowledge of social justice issues and systems affecting marginalized communities combine with entrepreneurial leadership and community with focus on individual and community empowerment
· Act as a Liaison Officer between and with Education authorities at the State and County level in Eastern Equatoria and Jonglei State on issues related to return and reintegration of IDPs and refugee teachers from Ethiopia, Kenya and Uganda.
Conduct an assessment of the baseline situation in regard to teachers’ issues in the two State, identifying gaps and opportunities that require the intervention of the UNHCR to support the State Ministry of Education to achieve effective return and reintegration of IDPs and refugee teachers and write recommendations
· Identify and monitor at-risk youth, youth dropout prevention, crisis intervention and conduct yearly program monitoring and evaluation.
· Work closely with families, schools, peer court, juvenile court, and refugees’ communities to negotiate juvenile behavior management plan.
· Organize and lead parenting classes, anger management classes, social-skills, and teambuilding workshops for youth and families. Provided training for teachers working with refugee’s student in both Salt Lake and Granite School Districts in Utah, USA.
· Organize and deliver Employment Skills Workshops building refugees’ skills and knowledge pertaining to job seeking, job retention, preparation of job interviews or other topics that impact self-sufficiency.
· Develop and locate appropriate employment opportunities for refugee clients.
· Determine what clients are appropriate for certain job openings; escort refugees to potential places of employment; negotiate job placement and pay rate with employers; provides interpretation and translation (if applicable), in the preparation of job application and interviews
