Under general supervision is responsible for spooling and banding capillary tubing utilized on artificial lift systems in a coordinated effort and procedure with customer representatives on installs or pulls on oil and gas job sites.nder general supervision, performs ESP installations and pulls, routine checks, and troubleshooting. Provides instruction and technical support to customer personnel in the proper handling and operating procedures of ESPs.

a derrickhand is responsible for operating the hoisting equipment that lifts and lowers the well service tools and equipment into the wellbore. This requires them to have a strong understanding of rigging techniques and the ability to operate the hoisting equipment safely and effectively. Overall, whether on a drilling rig or workover rig, the derrickhand plays an important role in the oil and gas industry and is responsible for ensuring that the drilling or service operations are carried out safely and efficiently. But a good hand knows you should be able to do everything from the floor to the pump!!

Inspected machinery components and the rig itself such as oil levels, release air pressures, checking fluids, hydraulic and transmission levels. to verify safety and working condition. Working with equipment such as , tongs to make lower connections of tubing and slips to properly handle pipe at a certain hight to be able to make connections. Used harnesses and platform climbing devices.

Performed regular job site observations to provide direction for general contractor personnel and subcontractor laborers.Provided maintenance for construction equipment. Handled supply and equipment inventories and distribution for workers. Collaborated with team members to carry out efficient work with optimal safety and achieve timetables.
