Knowing your strengths is important. It allows you to give yourself a sturdy base, and flourish off of those as you continue to grow. Early on, it became clear that my charisma and voice were going to be my strongest tools. Rather it be in school, minimum wage jobs, events I’ve organized, or managerial duties I’ve been responsible for have been successful. I’m able to create an environment where people feel comfortable no matter their background or personality. While my voice holds power, I’m an observer, a listener first. I want to evaluate my situation, so that I can perform to the best of my ability. Sometimes there’s ‘hiccups’, but those allow me to learn and come back better or more sharpened each time. I have a mindset that everyday I should become better, even if it’s only a small margin, there’s always room for growth. While I could be described as a goofy, eccentric giant, when I’m on a job/task, that becomes my main priority, and being off task isn’t an option until it’s complete, or sufficient progress has been made. My passions outside of work have always been writing, film, basketball, and fashion. In my flextime, I’m either working on my movie script, watching films, or at a public park getting some runs in.
