Accomplished Assistant Administrator with expertise in office coordination, documentation control, and compliance. Proven track record of enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring quality standards in resident care.
I started working in an adult care home facility as Dietary and Housekeeping Supervisor in 2010. I became a Medication Aide on March 19, 2013 and a Certified Nursing Assistant June 6, 2015. I became the Resident Care Director until taking over Quality Assurance Director for two facilities in 2019. I then went to obtain my Administrator In Training in April of 2021. I finished that course with my preceptor June 30, 2021. I then took my State test to become an Administrator and passed August 03, 2021. I then went to be the Administrator of one of the facilities I was doing QA for. I continued to do QA for the other facility during my time as Administrator. In 2023 our contract ended on that facility and I went back to Waterbrooke Assisted Living full time as Asst. Administrator/Special Care Director. I manage a 56 bed memory care unit. I have experience with handling difficult behaviors and have worked with my Executive Director and my Administrator for 17 plus years. I have also volunteered to the SOULS program of feeding the homeless once a month and have been apart of The Chamber of Commerce in Elizabeth City with our business for 15 plus years.
