I started tree work in June of 1983. I worked a couple of years in the private sector before moving into the Line Clearance Industry.
I was hired in February of 1985 to go to Los Angeles CA. to run a crew as a Foreman for LADWP. I worked there for 2 years. I returned to the Central Coast of CA. And pursued work for my previous employer. In the summer of 1990 I had the opportunity to go to Napa CA. and do some Line Clearance work for PG&E. I traveled around CA. and do some Line Clearance work for PG&E. I traveled around CA. and NV doing different small hard dollar contracts. In the summer of 1998, I came to OR to settle down. I signed the books and went to work immediately. I was Foreman of a crew with Trees Inc. up to 2006. At that time my supervisor approached me with the opportunity to become a Forest Tech. Since them I have gone back and forth, with the constant changing of Union Contractors from Forest Tech to Foreman. My experience in the tree industry is long and vast. I am also proficient in MicroSoft Office, mainly Excel.
