In 2023, I successfully undertook a close protection misson during the Ethiopian civil war, provided professional security for the Special Envoy for the horn of Africa, Michael Hammer. This experience taught me the important of adaptability and strategic thinking in dynamic environments, further enhancing my ability to access risk and implement effective security measures.

While I was traveling with the driver to pick up the US AU ambassador from his residence, the flagged vehicle came to a stop at a traffic light. In that brief moment, thieves stole the car's headlight washer cap and quickly fled the scene. Acting swiftly, I jumped out of the car, chased after the thieves, and managed to apprehend them, turning them over to the police.
