Results-driven Agricultural Engineer with forward-thinking approach centered on company success and competitive growth. Demonstrated record of success in building successful teams and managing profitable operations.
As a private consultant, I focus on providing guidance to agricultural producers. I specialized in providing comprehensive advice to two dairy farms, where I managed all hectares of cultivation to ensure professional and efficient management.
-Implementation of appropriate crop rotations to optimize soil quality and crop yield, thus maximizing productivity and profitability of dairy operations.
- Calculation and supervision of forage balances, ensuring a balanced and high-quality diet for dairy cattle.
- Providing tailored advice to meet the specific needs of each producer, offering practical and effective recommendations.
- Working closely with dairy farm teams to successfully implement proposed strategies and ensure optimal results.
I assumed the challenging role of leading the family company in its agricultural and livestock division. Despite my young age, I approached this responsibility as a personal challenge to drive growth and excellence in our company.
-Personnel direction and management, ensuring an efficient and collaborative work environment.
- Strategic formulation of agricultural rotations to maximize productivity and sustainability.
- Management of purchases of agricultural inputs, ensuring quality and efficiency in the acquisition processes.
- Negotiation with financial institutions to ensure necessary financial resources for activities development.
- Planning and execution of forage balance to optimize nutrition and livestock performance.
- Supervision and control of sowing, crop spraying, and harvest ensuring quality and efficiency in each stage of the process.
- Weekly crop tours to monitor development and detect possible problems or needs.
- Coordination and management of the Braford cattle ranch "Doña Juana", in collaboration with my sister. Implementing genetic improvement programs using artificial insemination technology, in vitro fertilization, and embryo placement.
At the beginning of my participation in the family farms "Don Agustin" and "La Juanita", I focused on animal improvement, specifically in the management of service and previous categories in the dairy for the implementation of sexed semen at the time. This focus resulted in significant improvements in dairy cattle genetics, currently competing with dairy farms from various parts of the world. As part of a genetic management, I also worked closely with an agronomist in charge of the establishments, participating in field activities.
During my stay in Chile, as an agronomist, I was responsible for planning and executing crop rotations on a Decks Family Agricultural Establishment. Later, I was hired as a field technical advisor for the Watt's Dairy Industry, where I provided consultations to dairy producers. Later, I took on the challenge of managing a dairy farm for my former employer, before handing over to a new manager.
During my internship, with the Roullier Group, I experienced firsthand the fusion of science and agriculture in a dynamic and collaborative environment. I worked in the soil and forage laboratory, where I participated in research and analysis projects. I conducted soil and forage analyses, contributing to the development of innovative solutions to improve agricultural productivity. Additionally, I had the opportunity to carry out field trials, applying the knowledge gained in the laboratory to practical situations. This experience not only expanded my knowledge in agronomy, but also taught me the importance of applied research in improving agriculture.
Along with my high school best friend, we began/developed a car wash business motivated by the need to generate our own income. Despite achieving excellent results, we closed the business after becoming victims of a robbery that left us without the necessary materials to continue.
At Salesian Agricultural Institute Don Bosco, an educational institution where students worked in the afternoons, I participated in a wide range of agricultural activities. These included nursery management, horticulture, dairy production, livestock farming, fencing installation, operation of agricultural machinery, management of a crop experimental plant, soybean extrusion, silo storage, swine and poultry production, as well as cleaning tasks, maintenance of the premises, plumbing, painting, among others.
