The goal of this position is to enhance the quality of life for individuals with mental disabilities through compassionate and consistent care.
My responsibilities include assisting with client hygiene, cleaning the group home, cooking, supervising planned activities, and supporting clients in accomplishing their personal goals.
This job also requires me to document and summarize clients' goal progress, administer medication, and maintain a safe and inclusive environment by addressing behavior challenges with patience and understanding.

• Meeting required sales goals, presenting sales pitches to customers, promoting specific merchandise, greeting customers and working cash registers, directing and assisting customers in locating desired products, answering phones, keeping bookstore clean and organized, closing store and counting cash registers.

• Warmly greeting patients and checking them in for their appointments, answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, updating patient profile information, adding and correcting patient insurance, collecting payments for insurance, communicating clearly and efficiently with doctors and medical assistants, sanitizing waiting rooms, often simply listening to patients voice their concerns and feelings, then offering them emotional support and encouragement while maintaining professional boundaries.
• My specific department was The Weber Float Pool, where I was sent out to fill in and cover for clinics that were understaffed. I traveled almost daily to different clinics and hospitals across Weber and Davis County.
• This job taught me to adapt to consistent change and unpredictable, fast-paced environments. I learned to be professional and composed in front of patients even in stressful situations.

• Food Handler's Permit was required, Worked as cashier in cafeteria, cooked basic meals on grill, delivered food around hospital to patient’s in their rooms, was kitchen janitor and dishwasher, and stocked and prepped food components like ingredients and side dishes.
