I am a former student of Boston Ballet School’s Professional Division at Walnut Hill, and I have attended numerous summer intensives over the span of my career, including the School of American Ballet (2019, 2021, 2022), Pacific Northwest Ballet (2018, 2022, 2023), and Miami City Ballet (2020). I have been dancing since I was 3 years old, and danced at my first ballet studio, Armour Dance Theater in Miami, FL.
As level representative of the highest level on Boston Ballet School’s Professional Division, ladies 3, I was responsible for facilitating communication between students and faculty. I worked closely with the Dance Department Representative to address concerns or issues regarding students in ladies 3, and to report these to the director of the program, Miranda Weese. I also participated in planning department events and field trips with my fellow level reps and department rep.
As president of my dorm for both my Junior and Senior years, I was responsible for creating a positive, inclusive, and healthy space for my peers. I worked closely with the dorm parents to plan activities in the dorm, as well as solving issues and disputes between students in the dorm. Part of my responsibility as dorm president was to serve as a mediator, as well as to uphold the standards of being a model student at Walnut Hill.
