In my present position as a Middle School English Teacher, I am responsible for educating and mentoring 60 students, including eighth graders focusing on English curriculum. Additionally, I engage in collaborative efforts with various stakeholders, including behavioral specialists, mental health practitioners and social workers, to contribute to the development of interventions tailored to students requiring support.

• Achieved a 50% increase in the number of students demonstrating mastery, proficiency employing evidence to substantiate their arguments in writing.
• Achieved a 40% increase in the quality of students demonstrating proficiency in text analysis. Increasing reading comprehension and text analysis by 40% across 8th grade

In my role as a tutoring paraprofessional it is my role to tutor students in the Reading and Math curriculums spanning from kindergarten to fifth grade. I collaborate with teachers in order to understand the current progress of the students, as well as staying up to date on their interventions and progress monitoring.

In my role as a performing arts choreographer I taught various dance styles to students including ballet, hip-hop, jazz, and African style dance. Using Dance Studio Pro to update orders, as well as complete sales.
