Lead Flight Attendant - Lead and manage domestic and international operation of flight crew members, administrative and security matters for flight departures and arrivals.
Identify and determine solutions of potential safety and or security concerns, and respond effectively to unusual or emergency situations including medical emergencies, security and safety events, or cabin evacuation.
Maintain all emergency equipment to ensure safety and security of all passengers and crew per standards of FAA and Alaska Airlines, to include but not limited to: fire extinguishers and oxygen systems, medical emergency equipment, and emergency evacuation equipment demonstrating safety and emergency measures, such as use of oxygen masks, seat belts, flotation devices and exit doors.
Prepare detailed reports following every flight including information on departure and destination locations, number of passengers, food and beverage sales, inventories of various hospitality items, condition of all cabin equipment, and accounts of any passenger issues.
Provided, managed and supervised routine pre-and-post in-flight cabin inspections, safety and security briefings with pilots, LEOs, agents and management.
Controlled and coordinated with flight cabin crew and Federal Air Marshals to ensure safety and security.
Offer support to passengers with special needs, including children, disabled persons, and elderly individuals.
Complete annual and quarterly trainings to remain current of FAA safety and security standards.
Maintain current awareness and knowledge of established airline safety and security guidelines; to ensure compliance with applicable FAA regulations and Alaska Airlines safety and compliance policy.
Prepare and serve meals, snacks and beverages in accordance with established company food safety procedures.
