Analyze submitted work orders and establish timelines for completion. Coordinate the procurement and inventory of over $90,000 in necessary equipment, tools supplies and Hazmat equipment, enabling the safe completion of maintenance and repair requests on US Army Watercraft. Perform maintenance, repairs and technical inspections for the 7th Transportation Brigade Expeditionary, Fort Eustis, VA. Track and submit man hours, work orders and supplies/repair parts for the day to day tasks and schedules of a 9 person team. Provide subject-matter-expert guidance on multiple aspects of ship maintenance, Army Regulations and safety issues to the vessel masters and other personnel on board the US Army Watercraft.

Successfully and safely executed missions as Vessel Master of a 174' Army Watercraft for numerous U.S. Army personnel and equipment movements, training exercises within the Chesapeake Bay, its tributaries and entire Eastern Seaboard. Executed humanitarian aid and world-wide joint coalition and foreign national force missions throughout the Pacific and SW Asia operational areas. Commanded and supervised 15 U.S. Army Watercraft Soldiers in all aspects of hazardous material handling, marine safety, vessel handling and logistical operations and cargo handling/transport and U.S. Army Dive Operations.

Performed Annual Safety Inspections on the Army LCU's as required by Army Regulations and CFR's. Maintained all licensing requirements for over 200 Soldiers. Worked with the Vessel Support Office to plan, contract and ensure satisfactory compliance of all required annual and quarterly tests, drills and inspections for eight multimillion dollar Army Watercraft. Worked 5 days a week with 40+ hours per week, including multiple 24 hour shifts.

Monitored, managed and supervised the preparation and disposition for sale of three Army Water Craft, each worth $21 million including their commercial marine communications, navigation equipment and general deck and engine machinery. Ensured product was delivered to customer in Satisfactory status and all required safety inspections were successfully completed.

Oversaw and managed the Sea Pay Program for a Brigade size unit, over 2,000 Soldiers; Created and implemented a standardized policy and procedure to process over 450 transactions with zero deficiencies and track licensing requirements for required Professional Military Education. Provided expert guidance and input to Brigade Commander

(Colonel).

Responsible for creating voyage plans, plotting courses, maintaining and operating mission critical navigational bridge equipment. Maintained SOLAS and distress signals, ensured logistical support for cargo operations, supplies, cranes and lifting machinery and diplomatic clearances were completed prior to every port call. Watch Officer of four man watch team, IAW Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping. Tracked, scheduled and completed all necessary and required tests, drills and inspections were carried out and passed for the vessel. Maintained Vessel Logbook with daily entries, results of TDI's and all pertinent information of vessel business and maintenance. Supervised and trained a HAZMAT Response Team for fueling operations, hydraulic and lube oil transfers.

Boatswain assigned to Class A U.S. Army vessels, Trained, directed, and supervised multiple crews of Army Watercraft Operators in ship's duties relating to marlin spike seamanship, vessel handling, painting, upkeep of ship's external hull structure and surface preservation, rigging, deck machinery, cargo operations and handling and preventative maintenance checks and services. Leader of a four man team for damage control and fire emergencies. Served as watch officer of a four man underway watch.
