  • Team Lead and Tier III support for the Network Management, Cisco Soft ACD, SIP, and MetaSwitch Platforms. Manage, support, design and maintain all aspects of the nationwide platform for Verizon's 411 infrastructure and wireless SMS and SIP services. Provide support for 22 call centers, 12 TDM voice gateway sites, 4 datacenters and a lab environment.
  • Lead the evolution of the new Cisco UCCE/Soft ACD Platform (Call Manager).
  • Created network designs, configured and installed Cisco hardware and software in 2 datacenters and 12 TDM gateway locations. These locations terminate wireless traffic as well as each LSC call center to the VZB MPLS network for the connectivity to the soft ACD platform.
  • Authored the Cisco CUBE and UCCE SIP Call Flow diagrams.
  • Responsible for the configuration and design of new network equipment for the directory assistance platform.
  • Single point of contact for senior management for Sarbanes Oxley as it pertained to the General Computer Controls Matrix (GCC).
  • Business Model Implemented the appropriate Service Level Management for future customers and revenue streams.
  • Managed LAN Upgrade Project for Boston, NYC, Fort Wayne, and Sacramento LAN & Datacenter Enhancement.
  • Lead on consultant expense tracking (LETC)- Accountable for month to month financials of contractors.
  • LSC and TOPS Router Upgrades- Responsible for hardware and software configuration and deployment of Cisco devices. Coordinated the retirement of Nortel end of life equipment.
  • Collaborated with strategic and security personnel to successfully implement Cisco ASA configurations to facilitate testing of the new LiveSource platform. Set up VPN tunnels and routing from the LiveSource lab for connectivity to Nuance sites. This work allowed for application testing and acceptance without disruption to the production environment significantly reducing outages.
  • Lead effort to configure, test, and deploy Cisco VPN for SMS and enhanced services for all wireless carriers and vendor relationships. This effort opened new revenue streams and business opportunities. Vendors include: Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Alltel, iWireless.
