Amazon associate with hands-on experience supporting Amazon Robotics operations, troubleshooting drive unit issues, clearing equipment obstructions, and escalating complex mechanical issues to RME. Previous industrial machine operator experience includes operating, monitoring, adjusting, and troubleshooting production equipment to minimize downtime. Currently pursuing a B.S. in Cloud and Network Engineering with an AWS specialization at Western Governors University. Safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and motivated to advance into a technical maintenance and engineering role.
• Serve as an Amnesty Floor Monitor (AFM) supporting Amazon Robotics (AR) floor operations by responding to drive faults, floor obstructions, track jams, and other equipment-related events to minimize operational downtime.
• Troubleshoot AR drive unit issues within AFM scope, reset drive units, clear drive crashes and obstructions, and safely remove debris from underneath robotic equipment.
• Identify recurring or complex equipment issues and escalate mechanical faults to Reliability, Maintenance, and Engineering (RME) for further diagnosis and repair.
• Monitor AR floor conditions and respond to system-generated alerts while following established robotics-floor access and safety procedures.
• Recover fallen inventory from active drive paths and resolve product-related obstructions that interfere with robotic equipment movement and floor health.
• Coordinate with Operations, RME, and other associates to communicate equipment conditions and support the safe restoration of AR floor operations.
• Maintain safe work areas by identifying and addressing floor hazards, debris, obstructions, and other conditions affecting robotic equipment operation.
• Operated and monitored industrial production equipment, including hoppers, ball mills, and spray dryers, to maintain safe and continuous material processing.
• Troubleshot and resolved mechanical equipment malfunctions and process interruptions to minimize production downtime, escalating maintenance issues when necessary.
• Set up and adjusted machine settings based on production requirements to maintain equipment performance and achieve daily production targets.
• Monitored material flow through production machinery, identifying equipment abnormalities, bottlenecks, and process issues during operation.
• Conducted hourly quality-control testing on body materials to verify specifications and accurately documented results.
• Safely operated industrial forklifts to load, unload, and transport raw materials from railcars to designated storage and production areas.
• Maintained a clean and hazard-free work area around industrial equipment in accordance with facility safety procedures.
