ALAN RENAÉ NEAL

Fine Art, Theatre Design,Theme Party Design (specialty draping fabric, & Lighting Design.) and MUCH MORE!
Saint Petersburg,BFA

Summary

Summary Statement My BFA is in Fine Art Painting, and I also completed all required course material to graduate from Broward College with a graphic design degree, but chose to take the generous scholarship offer from Ringling College, and graduated in the upper ten percent of graduates. I spent 8 years at Broward College due to the generous wages and the perfect environment for an artist to thrive with the jobs I was given in the art department as gallery assistant and studio monitor. There, I took Best of Show, Best Painting, & Best Sculpture in student competitions. I moved to The Sarasota area to accept the scholarship and grants the financial aid department hooked me up with, and learned so much more than I would have at Broward college. I also worked as a studio monitor in both the wood-shop and the sculpture studio. [Job Title] highly passionate about art, technology and the creative processes involved in video game creation.

Education

Professor Artists Support - Graphic Design

Broward College, Fort Lauderdale, FL
06.2009
  • This was my first college attempt through Vocational Rehab, allowing me the freedom to pursue the full curriculum toward a degree. After two years, I had enough scholarship money to change my major to Fine Art. I chose to achieve my BFA instead of an Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design. I stayed at BC because they’d given me a perfect position as the sculpture department’s studio monitor. The entire staff of Art professors utilized my skills in graphic design for signage for their gallery shows, business cards, and using my carpenter skills for furniture, video displays, sound installations, and any other needs they may have as professional artists.
