Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain a robust "client book." This involves proactive outreach, following up on repairs, and inviting top-tier clients to exclusive events or new product launches.
Product Expertise: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Rimowa's history, materials (aluminum, polycarbonate and leather), and technical features to provide a storytelling-based sales approach.
Manager-on-Duty: Assume full leadership of the store in the absence of the Store or Assistant Store Manager, including opening/closing procedures and floor supervision.
Coaching: Assist in training new team members based on Rimowa standard of selling and service. I am responsible for motivating the staff during morning brief meeting and providing real-time feedback on the floor.
KPI Management: Help the team understand their performance metrics and provide guidance on how to improve individual results.
The "Maison" Experience: Ensure every guest receives a luxury-tier welcome, adhering to the brand's core values: Approachable, Knowledgeable, Thoughtful, and Efficient.
After-Sales & Repairs: Oversees the intake of luggage repairs. In many Rimowa locations, I am responsible to coordinate with the in-house technician or perform basic assessments and "client care" updates.
Conflict Resolution: Handle complex client issues or complaints with a high degree of professionalism and discretion.
Inventory Control: Assist with stock takes, cycle counts, and monitoring the flow of shipments to ensure the "back of house" is as organized as the front.
Visual Standards: Ensure the store remains "floor-ready" at all times. This includes maintaining the precise placement of luggage, ensuring lighting is correct, and that all displays align with global VM guidelines.
Administrative Duties: Manage daily reporting, cash handling, and ensuring all store supplies (packaging, stationary) are stocked.
