Served as a leader in two different platoons, both as a mortarman and a sniper, showing dedication to the infantry’s mission, and ensuring soldiers were always taken care of.
• Rated top sniper candidate, performance during sniper section tryouts, ⅓ CR Sniper Section, September, 2023. Rated as the top performer in a highly competitive sniper selection process. Out of 26 candidates, only 6 candidates successfully passed the rigorous evaluation. Demonstrated exceptional marksmanship, strategic thinking, and composure under pressure to earn the top rating.
• Army Achievement Medal, training event, ⅓ CR Command, August, 2022. Received for pivoting team strategy to accomplish the mission after initial plan failed. Stepping into a position above with no hesitation, and making critical decisions that enabled the team to accomplish the mission even while under immense stress from the situation.
• Army Achievement Medal, National Training Center rotation, ⅓ CR Squadron Mortar Platoon, May 2022. Earned on the spot promotion to team leader, replacing senior soldiers due to proven reliability and job performance. Aggressively led the team to push performance and achieved excellence recognized by upper echelons of command.
