  • Officer-in-Charge of flight training program, ensuring standardization at all levels of pilot and crew training for medical evacuation, domestic fire-fighting, and search & rescue missions.
  • Specialized in instrument training, conducting numerous instrument procedures classes and then applying these lessons in targeted training flights.
  • Served on Army-level board to develop a new version Aircrew Training Manual (Military version of ACS/PTS) in order to construct, implement, or eliminate tasks to reflect on modern Army tactics, techniques, and procedures and to better synchronize with modern technology and flight regimes.
  • Developed an initial HH-60M training program for MEDEVAC, to include developing training guides and procedures guides needed in order to integrate and successfully execute the MEDEVAC mission.
  • Provided oversight and developed standardization procedures on pilot surveillance, creating no-notice programs to evaluate pilots academically and in flight for compliance with FAR and Army regulations.
  • Developed special instrument recoveries for complex, austere environment to allow for MEDEVAC and other combat aircraft to recover at Army airfields/forward operating bases.
  • Incorporated TERPS requirements, dynamic obstacles (Tethered JLENS Blimp), and other combat-related hazards into instrument approach procedure, ensuring maximum safety and reliability of approach.
  • Directs and executes integration with state hospitals and overseas surgical support hospitals to maximize continuity of care during real-world disaster response.
  • Deployed 2016-2017 in support of Operation Inherent Resolve to Kurdistan, Iraq as a senior MEDEVAC subject matter expert and advisor.
  • Trained with over 15 multinational coalition countries, ensuring interoperability capabilities between U.S. forces and foreign Special Forces/Medical teams throughout Iraq during deployment.
