Alexa Chavez

A Kids Instructor engages with children from the ages of 3 months to 11 years old by providing several entertaining, academic, or fitness activities. Members implement safety and care to children including infants and toddlers (feeding them bottles, rocking them to sleep, playing instruments and handing them toys.) Older children are offered classes such as gym games, gymnastics, karate, outdoor games, art classes, music and movement classes, and rock-climbing. All classes are held and instructed by instructors. We also host birthday parties for children, events like all day camps, off-site drop-off events, and events where parents can participate with children. Other tasks include keeping stock of needed items, interacting with other members in the building such as adults or guests, and cleaning. My position focuses on setting up personalized arts and crafts projects for students where I will help teach and encourage kids to create outstanding artwork to bring home to their loved ones.
