I raised $365 to enable an underprivileged student in Bali, Indonesia to attend school. The program involved writing letters on a daily basis to a student assigned to me. Through these letters, we shared our experiences, checked in on each other and formed a friendship. I found it really inspiring to be able to see things from the perspective of a peer in another country and to make such a profound impact in someone else's life.
Over the course of three years I completed 120 hours of community service at Habitat For Humanity. My responsibilities included stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, moving furniture and assisting patrons with locating merchandise based on their requests.
I worked with various families in my community and was often referred to other families. During my time babysitting, I played games, worked on puzzles, and read books to young children. Prepared and cleaned up after meals and prepared children for naps and bedtime. I communicated positively with children and parents. I worked hard to keep activities organized, cleaned up toys and maintained a clean and organized environment to ensure the well-being of children under care.
The club was organized on campus to spread kindness and caring throughout the community. I was instrumental in organizing events around the campus to spread kindness to faculty and students. The club set up events for faculty appreciation.
Worked as an administrative assistant to a music industry executive on a remote, part time basis. I worked directly with the company's principal reviewing and responding to emails, gathering information and scheduling and calendaring meetings. I gained hands-on experience in various software programs, increasing proficiency and expanding technical skills. I performed research, organized tasks and exceeding expectations.
