I am a highly motivated, high-achieving individual with a love for knowledge and learning. My academic interests include classical studies, archaeological methods, cultural and biological anthropology, history, art, literature, and the humanities. I am invested in uncovering stories of the ever-evolving human experience throughout time, and I thrill at any opportunity to interpret these experienees from an academic, artistic, and anthropological standpoint. I particularly enjoy investigating the connections between economic, social, political, and cultural phenomena throughout time, as well as understanding what forces shape our collective understanding of the past. I am committed to a holistic, multidisciplinary approach to anthropological work, and I have an ever-expanding repertoire of experience collecting and analyzing data to tackle large-scale questions regarding race, religion, immigration, gender, sexuality, art, and visual media.

Bubble Tea: An Ethnographic Investigation of Race, Class, and Tapioca, The University of Texas at Austin - College of Liberal Arts, 12/21
An ethnographic study of boba tea shops and their connections to Asian American immigrant communities in the U.S. To gather data for the assignment, I interviewed 8 different individuals across 3 bubble tea shops. Much of my research was done via participant-observation, online research, and interviews of individuals participating in the scene. The result was a functionalist analysis of boba tea culture and its relation to Asian American immigrant communities and American society as a whole.
