Volunteering Opprtunties
-Here are some examples of volunteering opportunities I participated in organized through my church
- Painting Refresh- Durnign this activity I helped clean, paint, and do landscaping in areas throughout both Raleigh and Durham.
- Warehouse Project with the Food Bank of CENC- I helped sort food donations, make senior food boxes, label donations, and package food items.
- McMakin Community Adopt A Block with Raleigh Dream Center- This event was Raleigh Dream Center’s primary way of changing the atmosphere and relationships by being present in local neighborhoods. Here the goal was to help build strong, lasting relationships within the community. I knock on doors, provide groceries for households, picked up trash, and interact with families.
